We are absolutely thrilled to share our vision for a brand-new, independent radio station dedicated to Truro and Colchester County. The CRTC has officially announced it received an application for a new radio station for Truro. If approved, CKTR-FM will be the first new commercial station licensed in Truro since 1965!
For too long, the airwaves have been dominated by cookie-cutter corporate broadcasting hubs. We believe Truro deserves a fresh, hyper-local voice on the dial, one that is genuinely invested in the community, highlights local voices, and celebrates the unique culture of our region.
